eFinancialCareers Ideal Employer Research Methodology

Our 2017 Ideal Employer research was conducted via an online survey tool between the months of October 2016 to December 2016. In total, the survey garnered 5,983 respondents globally. 17,622 votes for ideal employers were cast with a total mention of 2,663 different companies.

To ensure statistical validity of the results 30+ votes per company were required for major rankings (e.g. regions) and 10+ votes per company required for minor rankings (e.g. company sector).

In comparing and analyzing the 2017 results vs. the 2016 results, with just a few exceptions, the question format and analytical approach were the same.
